Setting up multi-factor authentication for Ecologi Zero

You share sensitive financial data with Ecologi Zero, and we take this responsibility very seriously. Because of this, we have an extra layer of security on your account and your data, called multi-factor authentication. This means that when you log in to Ecologi Zero you’ll be asked to enter a code generated by an authenticator app in addition to your username and password. 

 

How to set it up:

When you set up your Ecologi Zero account, or when you next log in, you’ll be prompted to set up multi-factor authentication. If you already have an authenticator app set up, like Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy, then you can use this. If you don’t, then you will need to install one, and you can find out more about what they are and your choices here.

1. We’ll prompt you to open your authenticator app, and scan a QR code to add Ecologi Zero to your app.

 

2. Then enter the code displayed in the app into the Ecologi Zero login screen.

 

3. Finally, you’ll need to authorise access to your Ecologi Zero account by clicking “Accept”

Logging in

Once you’ve set it up, when you log in to Ecologi Zero in future, you may be asked to enter a code generated by your authenticator app, in addition to your username and password.

 

FAQS

Can’t access your authenticator app or having trouble logging in?

When you set up your Ecologi Zero on your authenticator app you may have been asked to note down some “recovery codes” to use if you ever have a problem accessing the app. If you have one of these, just select “Try another method” on the verification screen and enter the code.
