You can purchase from the Impact Shop whether you have an existing Ecologi account or not.
For new users: You can complete your purchase directly from the basket page in just a few steps, without needing to create a password or username upfront.
For existing users: Simply log in to your account and proceed to checkout.
We have a range of accounts available:
For businesses:
- Climate Action Workforce® subscription
- Free pay-as-you-go account (can also be used by individuals who prefer this)
For individuals:
Step 1: Browse and add items to your basket
• Visit the Impact Shop
• Select the project you are interested in funding
• On the next screen you'll have the option to choose from pre-selected volumes or you can select a custom amount
• The optional 'Funded by' box allows for personalisation of the 'tile' that will be shown on your Ecologi profile once the purchase is complete. If nothing is entered in the 'Funded by' box, the tile will show the name of the Ecologi account in this field
• When you are happy with your purchase, click 'Add to basket'
Not sure what to fund? Look for the "Unsure what to fund?" banner on the Impact Shop and click "Help me decide". This opens a short wizard that asks questions about your goals and needs, then recommends suitable projects based on your answers.
Gifting impact to others (optional)
If you are purchasing for someone other than yourself, you can gift climate impact to someone else directly through the Impact Shop. When you gift impact, the recipient receives an email notification and a link to view the impact tile on your Ecologi profile.
How to send impact as a gift:
- On any Impact Shop product page, look for the "Send as gift" checkbox
- Tick the checkbox to enable gifting
- A "Recipient email" field will appear
- Enter the recipient's email address
The recipient will receive an email letting them know you've funded impact on their behalf, with a link to the impact tile on your Ecologi profile.
Common uses for gifting:
Businesses and individuals use the gift function to:
- Welcome new hires with climate impact
- Recognise and reward employees
- Thank customers
Step 2: Review your basket
• You may now return to the product page to continue browsing, or view your shopping basket (found in the top right of your navigation bar) when you are ready to complete the purchase
• Review the items in your basket and make any changes needed
• If you've chosen to send items as gifts, you'll see the recipient email addresses listed here. You can edit these by clicking the edit icon (✏️) next to each recipient email, just like the 'Funded by' field
Step 3: Complete your purchase
For new users: You'll go through a simple 3-step checkout process where we collect only the essential information needed to complete your purchase. You don't need to create a password or choose a username to make your first purchase.
For all users:
• At checkout, you will be asked to confirm your billing details. Please check these carefully as these details will be included on the invoice and/or receipt
• UK customers have the option to pay via card or generate an invoice for BACS payment. For customers outside of the UK, we only support card payments at this time
• If you pay by card, the tiles representing your impact will be added to your Ecologi profile immediately when the payment is complete. A receipt will be emailed to the address associated with the account
• If you choose to pay by invoice, this will be sent to the billing address provided and should be paid within 30 days of issuance. The tile representing your impact will be added to your Ecologi profile as soon as the payment is received
